Come join us as we venture into soapmaking 101! At this beginner's class you will learn the basics of cold process soap making and then you will apply what you learn and create your very own soap! Class size is limited to eight pre-registered and paid participants. All participants must wear long sleeve shirts, long pants and closed toe shoes. This is not the class for your Sunday best or that pretty new blouse, things can get messy! Everything else you need to handcraft your very own custom soaps will be provided. We DO NOT use essential oils in this beginner's class. That is a very advanced technique as each essential oil has it's own very specific skin safe level and essential oil prices are phenomenal! That is left for the advanced soap making class! This class uses premium phthalate free skin safe 100% pure fragrance oils made for soapmaking! Cost is $55 per person and each person will make 6 bars of soap ($36 value). All classes are held at our private home studio here on the farm. You will need to physically be able to navigate stairs to enter the studio so please keep this in mind for both yourself and any guests you may bring along. Class is from 12-2 pm and light refreshments are served.
