While a soap dish significantly extends the life of your handcrafted soaps, did you know that it is possible to also extend the life of your handcrafted natural wood soap dish?
I encourage our customers to use these soap dishes in pairs! Use one soap dish for 2-3 weeks, then gently wipe clean with a damp cloth and set it aside to fully dry out. Use the second dish for 2-3 weeks while the other dish is drying and then alternate them this way. Allowing the soap dishes to fully dry out every few weeks will prevent the wood from becoming water-logged. This will greatly increase the life of your cedar soap dish!
