Natural Deodorant

Rumors have been swirling for quite some time now that there's a strong link between certain cancers and the aluminum chloride and parabens found in antiperspirants. Although this may currently be unproven, those ingredients are some that I do not feel comfortable applying to my underarms on a daily basis. 

Antiperspirants and deodorants are NOT the same thing! Antiperspirants minimize sweating by blocking the sweat glands with aluminum salts, while deodorants allow you to sweat, simply masking any odor. Your body is meant to sweat so why are you blocking that with an antiperspirant?

If switching to natural deodorant is appealing to you, please keep in mind that you will notice a difference when you make the change. Your sweat glands, which have been clogged up by the aluminum salts found in chemical antiperspirants, will now have the ability to perform their proper functions. You may notice a transitional stage where you're more aware of your underarm sweating before your body reaches its natural equilibrium. Stick it out; it’s worth it! All of our natural deodorants are free of aluminum, artificial fragrances, and parabens. They are baking soda free with the exception of our new Extra Strength Formula I have described below.

If you find you need more odor control than our standard natural deodorant provides please try our Extra Strength Formula! Bear in mind this formula does contain a small amount of baking soda to help with wetness and odor control. For some, baking soda can irritate tender underarm skin so please discontinue if irritation develops. Men, in particular, are loving this extra strength formula! Currently available in a lovely unisex cedar + geranium scent!
